Description:
The pulley is designed to improve the performance of a winch. If you are using a winch, adding a pulley to your equipment is almost essential, as it increases the pulling power of the winch and provides more options for solving demanding recovery situations. Each additional pulley used with a winch increases the overall pulling force, but at the same time reduces the winch speed. In many situations, slower and more controlled pulling is safer and more efficient.
The pulley has two main functions when used with a winch:
- Changes the direction of the winch cable when the anchor point is offset.
- Increases the pulling power of the winch for more efficient pulling.
